Terms & Conditions

TrustProto AI OS · Effective Date: 24 August 2026 · Last Updated: 24 August 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TrustProto AI OS (“TrustProto”, “we”, “us” or “our”), including our website, TrustProto ID, Trust Score, AI Trust Engine, Marketplace, member services, APIs, software development tools, verification services, audit functionality and related products and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By creating an account, accessing the Platform, connecting a wallet, submitting information for verification, registering an AI agent, using the Trust Engine, listing yourself or an organisation in the Marketplace, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Who Can Use TrustProto

You must:

  • be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
  • provide information that is accurate and not misleading;
  • keep your account information reasonably current;
  • maintain the security of your account credentials;
  • comply with applicable laws and regulations; and
  • use the Platform only for legitimate purposes.

If you use TrustProto on behalf of a company, organisation, DAO, business or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. What TrustProto Does

TrustProto provides technology intended to help users establish, analyse, communicate and manage digital trust.

Depending on the services available to you, TrustProto may provide:

  • digital identity and Trust ID services;
  • credential verification and credential storage;
  • trust and reputation scoring;
  • AI-assisted risk and trust analysis;
  • blockchain and wallet analysis;
  • document and contract analysis;
  • AI-agent identity and reputation infrastructure;
  • permissions and access controls;
  • audit trails and evidence records;
  • trust-related notifications;
  • APIs and developer tools; and
  • a Marketplace containing profiles or listings for people, businesses, consultants, freelancers and AI agents.

TrustProto is an infrastructure and information service. It is not a guarantee that a person, business, AI agent, wallet, document, transaction or other subject is safe, honest, competent, solvent, compliant or suitable for a particular purpose.

4. Trust ID

TrustProto may allow users to create a Trust ID containing verified or user-supplied information.

Depending on the verification method used, information may include:

  • identity information;
  • government-issued identification;
  • professional credentials;
  • education credentials;
  • employment information;
  • licences;
  • insurance information;
  • wallet addresses;
  • blockchain activity;
  • community endorsements;
  • business information; and
  • other evidence supplied or obtained for legitimate verification purposes.

A “verified” credential means that TrustProto or an authorised verification provider has completed a particular verification process against defined evidence.

Verification does not mean that the underlying person or organisation is universally trustworthy or that the information can never become inaccurate or outdated.

5. Credential Vault

TrustProto may provide an owner-controlled credential vault.

Users remain responsible for ensuring that information they upload is accurate, lawful to provide and appropriate to store.

Users should not upload information that they do not have the right to provide.

Where sharing controls are provided, users are responsible for selecting appropriate visibility and permissions.

TrustProto will not intentionally make private credentials public except as permitted by the applicable service configuration, these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the user's instructions.

6. Trust Score

TrustProto may calculate a Trust Score using multiple categories of information and evidence.

The Trust Score may take account of factors such as:

  • identity verification;
  • financial behaviour;
  • professional reputation;
  • employment;
  • community activity;
  • cybersecurity indicators;
  • blockchain activity;
  • AI confidence;
  • business reputation;
  • transparency;
  • contract history; and
  • other indicators introduced by TrustProto.

Scores may change when new information becomes available, evidence expires, information is corrected, verification status changes, or TrustProto changes its methodology.

A Trust Score is an analytical indicator. It is not: a guarantee; a credit rating; an insurance policy; a financial assessment; a criminal background check unless expressly stated; professional advice; a prediction of future conduct; proof of legal compliance; or a guarantee of marketplace performance.

Users must not represent a Trust Score as a guarantee of another person's conduct, solvency, safety or performance.

7. Accuracy and Challenges

TrustProto aims to provide accurate information and meaningful explanations for trust indicators.

However, information may come from users, third parties, public blockchain records, verification providers, automated systems and other sources.

If you believe information associated with your profile is incorrect, misleading, outdated or improperly attributed, you should contact TrustProto and provide sufficient information for the matter to be investigated.

Where legally required, TrustProto will provide appropriate mechanisms for correction, objection, review or human intervention.

8. AI Trust Engine

The AI Trust Engine may provide analysis relating to companies, wallets, contracts, documents, websites, AI agents or other subjects.

AI-generated output may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, incorrect assumptions or false conclusions.

AI output must therefore be treated as an aid to investigation and decision-making, not as an authoritative determination of fact.

The Platform may display confidence indicators, evidence references, risk classifications or explanatory reasoning. These are analytical outputs and should not be treated as guarantees.

The TrustProto AI Engine may also be provided in demonstration, testing or development mode. Where a feature is identified as demonstration or illustrative mode, its outputs must not be relied upon for real-world decisions.

9. AI Agents

TrustProto may allow users to register AI agents and associate agents with:

  • creators or operators;
  • model information;
  • cryptographic identifiers;
  • permissions;
  • reputation;
  • memory;
  • audit trails;
  • wallets;
  • tasks; and
  • other information.

The owner, creator, operator or controller of an AI agent remains responsible for the agent's behaviour and for ensuring that the agent operates within applicable laws and authorised permissions.

TrustProto does not guarantee that an AI agent will behave correctly, safely, lawfully or consistently.

TrustProto does not accept responsibility merely because an AI agent has been verified or listed on the Platform.

10. Permissions and Audit Trails

Where TrustProto provides permission controls, users are responsible for configuring appropriate permissions.

Users should not grant an AI agent, person, application or third party permissions beyond those necessary for the intended activity.

Audit trails are intended to provide evidence of recorded events. They do not guarantee that every real-world event has been recorded or that a recorded event accurately represents every aspect of the underlying activity.

11. Blockchain and Wallet Information

TrustProto may analyse publicly available blockchain information or information supplied by users.

Blockchain data may be:

  • incomplete;
  • pseudonymous;
  • incorrectly attributed;
  • permanently recorded;
  • altered in interpretation by later information; or
  • associated with wallets controlled by multiple people or entities.

A wallet address must not automatically be treated as proof of the identity of its controller.

TrustProto does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of blockchain intelligence.

12. Marketplace

The TrustProto Marketplace may contain listings for freelancers, consultants, businesses, AI agents and other service providers.

  • A Marketplace listing does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, warranty or guarantee by TrustProto.
  • A Trust Score, verification badge or listing status does not guarantee competence, quality, financial stability, legality, availability, successful performance, cybersecurity, suitability or absence of fraud.

Users are responsible for carrying out their own due diligence before entering into a transaction or relationship with a Marketplace participant.

TrustProto is not necessarily a party to agreements entered into between Marketplace participants.

13. User-to-User Transactions

Where users contract with one another through or as a result of the Marketplace, the parties are responsible for agreeing their own:

  • scope of work;
  • prices;
  • payment terms;
  • warranties;
  • deliverables;
  • deadlines;
  • intellectual property arrangements;
  • confidentiality obligations; and
  • dispute arrangements.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, TrustProto does not guarantee payment or performance by either party.

14. Prohibited Use

You must not use TrustProto to:

  • commit fraud;
  • impersonate another person or organisation;
  • submit forged or manipulated credentials;
  • manipulate a Trust Score;
  • manufacture fake endorsements;
  • create fraudulent identities;
  • misrepresent blockchain ownership;
  • manipulate reviews or reputation;
  • bypass security controls;
  • conduct unauthorised surveillance;
  • upload malicious code;
  • attack or interfere with the Platform;
  • misuse another person's personal information;
  • use the Platform for unlawful discrimination;
  • create misleading AI-agent identities;
  • abuse verification systems;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer protected systems except where permitted by law;
  • use TrustProto to make unlawful automated decisions; or
  • otherwise violate applicable law.

15. Intellectual Property

TrustProto and its licensors retain all rights in the Platform, including its:

  • software;
  • architecture;
  • algorithms;
  • interfaces;
  • trademarks;
  • branding;
  • documentation;
  • databases;
  • designs;
  • methodologies; and
  • proprietary technology.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.

You do not acquire ownership of TrustProto technology merely by using it.

16. Your Content

You retain ownership of content and information that you lawfully submit to TrustProto, subject to the rights necessary for TrustProto to operate the Platform.

You grant TrustProto the limited rights necessary to host, process, verify, analyse, display, secure and otherwise provide the services you request.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide the information.

17. Third-Party Services

TrustProto may integrate with third-party services, including:

  • blockchain networks;
  • identity providers;
  • cloud infrastructure;
  • AI providers;
  • payment providers;
  • communication services;
  • analytics providers;
  • verification services; and
  • external APIs.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

TrustProto is not responsible for independent failures, changes or actions of third-party services.

18. Fees

Some TrustProto services may be free and others may require payment.

Where fees apply, the applicable price, billing period and cancellation terms will be presented before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly provided by TrustProto.

19. Suspension and Termination

TrustProto may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to:

  • protect users;
  • protect the Platform;
  • investigate suspected fraud;
  • prevent abuse;
  • comply with law;
  • enforce these Terms; or
  • address security concerns.

Where reasonably practicable, TrustProto will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

Certain information may need to be retained after termination where required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legitimate operational purposes.

20. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustProto does not guarantee that:

  • the Platform will always be available;
  • information will always be accurate;
  • verification will detect every form of fraud;
  • AI outputs will always be correct;
  • Trust Scores will predict future behaviour;
  • blockchain analysis will be complete;
  • Marketplace participants will perform as expected; or
  • security incidents will never occur.

21. No Professional Advice

TrustProto does not provide legal, financial, tax, investment, insurance, employment, medical, cybersecurity or other professional advice merely by providing information or analytical output.

You should obtain appropriate professional advice where the consequences of a decision are significant.

22. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to that restriction, TrustProto will not be liable for indirect, consequential, special or unforeseeable losses arising from use of the Platform.

Where legally permitted, TrustProto's aggregate liability arising from a particular service will be limited to the amount paid by the relevant user for that service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

23. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify TrustProto against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from:

  • your unlawful use of the Platform;
  • your breach of these Terms;
  • fraudulent information submitted by you;
  • infringement of another person's intellectual property or privacy rights; or
  • your misuse of another user's information.

24. Changes to These Terms

TrustProto may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated through appropriate means.

Your continued use of the Platform following the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.

25. Privacy

Use of personal information is governed by the TrustProto Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy forms part of the contractual framework governing use of the Platform.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory law applicable to you requires otherwise.

The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or protections available to consumers or other protected users under applicable law.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

28. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, AI & Trust Score Disclaimer and any applicable service-specific terms, constitute the agreement between you and TrustProto concerning the Platform.
